The Elon Files

The Elon Files

The Elon Files

Why do people hate Elon? Because when you take him off his pedestal, it's clear that the "world's richest man" is morally bankrupt and lies a lot. Here are the receipts.

Runs to Joe Rogan, runs away from Jon Stewart

Elon criticized Kamala Harris for dodging an interview with Joe Rogan because she wouldn't have control over the final edit.

Elon backed out of an interview with Jon Stewart despite an offer to set the conditions and air the interview unedited. Elon has been on Joe Rogan's podcast 4+ times because his pal never questions his claims.

1/2

Elon can't even be honest about his role at Tesla

Elon casts himself as a co-founder whenever he tells the origin story of Tesla.

Co-founders Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning think that's a weird thing to lie about.

1/2

Community Notes: Not his idea, but could have been his worst enemy

Elon likes to "prove" with posts like this that even he gets fact-checked by the Community Notes program on X.

After the election, he evidently made it so accounts like his and Trump's are able to lie freely without getting publicly "noted". Go ahead and check. Only if you're in the CN program, can you see CN contributors expressing their frustration.

1/2

Elon is trying to gaslight us into believing a dictatorship is a democracy

Elon talks about protecting DEMOcracy using the literal definition of AUTOcracy (see North Korea and Russia).

These objectively wrong statements about how a democracy functions are mysteriously immune to Community Notes.

When you point the finger, there are always three pointing back. Maybe that's why Elon "points" like this.

When you point the finger, there are always three pointing back. Maybe that's why Elon "points" like this.

It turns out that the world's richest liar is morally bankrupt.

The story of the "genius entrepreneur" has become a moat behind which Elon Musk lies, cheats, and gaslights the public without any accountability.

At this point, anyone who believes him is either:

a) a die-hard fan who can't see beyond their stocks or the story he tells.

b) someone who's heard he's super smart and really rich, and just takes him at his word.

He's a genius in every field, until you listen to him bullshit on a topic you understand more than rocket science.

He's the real-life Tony Stark who is right now acting more like Tony Montana at the end of Scarface (desperate, high on drugs and power, in the midst of self-destructing).

He's the reason Tesla and SpaceX are household names, but you rarely hear mention of the co-founders like Martin Eberhard, Marc Tarpenning, and Tom Mueller.

He started a company that became PayPal,  but was ousted within a couple years because he really wanted to move from Unix-based systems to Windows, which would've sacrificed stability, scalability, and security to save a few bucks.

It's hard to fact check a man whose brand is built on a mountain of bullshit—where do you even start? It's even harder when the guy just points his finger at the press, fact-checkers, courts, history, politicians, and the internet and cries, "Propaganda!"

I started this project because screenshots and receipts like the ones above capture his duplicitous nature and make the argument for why he no longer deserves the benefit of the doubt.

The Elon Files won't convince people who, for whatever reason, need the myth of Musk to be real like a kid needs Santa Claus to be real if he wants any presents.

But maybe this helps you explain things to a confused friend, family member, or billionaire. At the very least, it's a link you can share to save you from an exhausting argument.
